Hi Thank you for looking up Robinson I have very little info on them Charles was my GR GR Grandfather and married Elizabeth Ann ? do not know where or when he had one daughter that I know of Elizabeth born 1876 India At some time they came to Belfast and their daughter Elizabeth married Walter Gregg 1897 at the time of marriage they lived in Bright Street and Charles occupation was seaman I have heard he may have been a bats man After this date they are lost Would love to find them for 1901 then I could look the cencus and possible other siblings Thanks again Gail

These are the details on the 1851 census I think they arrived in Fleetwood in Lancashire after 1846 going by the census. On later census William states Monaghan as place of birth but Catherine does state Tyrone. Would be very grateful if you can find anything for me. He later married a Rose Anne Oneill and they ended up living in Durham England. Very limited info I know but if you can help it would be very much appreciated. Hello Maureen Many thanks for your kind offer. Could you possibly try and locate the birth year and place for my grandfather John Hillan c1870. According to his marriage record he was the son of James Hillan and Mary Maguigan.He married Mary Magee in Belfast in 1896 and died there in1945 - age on death certificate 75. My mother said that her father's family were originally from Armagh but whether that meant he was born in Armagh remains unclear - but I suspect he was as the Griffiths valuations gives two James Hillans in the Newry area.
