hi maureen,its barbara again.this is not a request for a lookup. i understand in the early 50s children left in children homes in ireland were deported to australia,are there any records of these children.many thanks barbara |

Hi, Many thanks for looking. The Mary Jane Curry born in 1835 could be mine but the family in 1861 aren't. William and Mary Jane were in Birkenhead in 1861. As well as coming from Ireland they moved from Greenock to Birkenhead and back several times. The search goes on... Regards Olivia |
