Fiona Report 19 Jan 2007 17:39

Hello! I'm looking for Thomas Wynn, born c.1841 in Cheshire. I know he had two children, George and Harry, and that he was married to Mary. What I would like to know is Thomas's parents, if possible, and any siblings. Can you do BMD searches too? If you can, I'd like to find his marriage to Mary and so Mary's maiden name, but if you can't no problems :-) Thanks, Fiona

Hi Penelope I am searching for definitive answers to my great grandfather ancestry. My great granfather was Charles William Hudson( b1889) born in Gainsborough Lincolnshire. He was marreid to a Lucy Leaning (b 1890) in Alkborough or Thealby in Linconlshire. They married on 17.5.1909 in Primitive Methodist chapel in Scunthorpe. His father was called William and he was a butcher. Any other info which can allow to trace back further would help as i am stuck at the minute. Many many thanks Richard

Thanks for the offer Pen. 1881 Census - Henry Keates born 1844 or 1836 in Greenwich. Have found him in 1891 (under Reny Keates) living with his wife Ellen born 1849 in Walsall, Staffordshire. In 1901 found them again under the surname Heater with their three children all born in Hoo, Kent. I cannot find them in 1881 or can anyone else find them in 1871, 1861 I haven't asked for an 1881 search as I have access to that census but cannot find a thing, not even when Henry and Ellen married. Both census they were living in St. Mary, Hoo, Kent. Many thanks.

Hi Pen I would be grateful if you could find anything on the 1841-1861 census for the following person, im hoping it might be easier as he was born in Ireland: Peter lyons born abt 1813 Ireland living in middlesex. I think he was married to a Ellen also from Ireland but dont know much about him prior to 1869. He later married margaret cameron in 1869 and they had a child daniel cameron born 1870. They were living in finsbury - clerkenwell on the 1871 census if that helps. Anything you could find out i would be grateful for ,Many thanks Tracey :-))
