Hi Debs. Are you willing to do a follow up investigation for that family that I couldn't tie in. Could you look up William Fisher (1864) in the 1891 Wales census please to see if he's living with his parents. As he was in Kidwelly-1901, he'll probably be there in 1891. Not to be confused with William Fisher (1872) Kidwelly, who I already know was my great grandfather. My greatgrandfather was living with his parents Henry and Margaret in 1891. I'd be grateful if you could find this other William for me please. Thanks

Hi Debbie Yes, I think that the Robert Whitehead which you have found in Sedbergh is the right one. I was suprised at first by his occuption as I had him recorded as a stonemason, but on checking my records I find that he did have a dau. Eliz. married to John Carlisle. Thank you for that, superb service as usual. regards John

Hello again Debs. I hope I'm not asking too much of you but I've just come up with quite a few new names to add to my Fisher family. Already seen the following on the 1901 index but I'm hoping you can tell me who was living with who and what was the relationship. There seem to be a lot of people but I think you'll find that they all belong to the same 3 or 4 households. They were all born in Kidwelly, carmarthenshire and still living there in 1901. Oh and if it's not too much trouble can you also tell me their occupation. Here goes: Owen Fisher 1886 (mother margaret) Sylus Fisher 1898 Thomas Fisher 1887 William Fisher 1864(spouse Jane) William Thomas Fisher 1892 Alice M Fisher 1894 Catherine Fisher 1889 Esther Anne Fisher 1892 Felicia Fisher 1888 Jane 1867 Jane Hannah Fisher 1894 Lizzie M Fisher 1896 Margaret 1888 (mother also Margaret) Margaret H 1894 Mary Louisa 1891 Sarah Anne 1900 THanks ever so much if you get time to check these out for me. Shirley

Hi Debra, Sorry about my eariler post. I didn't realise how garbbled it was!! Too early, maybe? ;-) Anyway, I wondered if you could possibly help me to find the following, please? William Clayton born February, 1851 in Wellington, Shropshire Mother: Ann Clayton. No father is mentioned. This is the only possible William Clayton from Wellington that I can find on the 1881 census but the DOB is down as being abt 1853. Being as the censuses had a habit of rounding up or down the ages, I think it's him. 1881: William Clayton abt 1853 Wellington, Shropshire, Head,Hedworth and Jarrow Durham. Wife Elizabeth Isabella I then went on to another website that would only let me see partial info from the other censuses because I had to pay etc. This is what it showed me for the William I found in 1881: *1861 CENSUS - There are <5> related persons in this household *Unmarried son at home *1871 CENSUS - There are <0> related persons in this household *Unmarried Boarder *1891 CENSUS - There are <6> related persons in this household *Deceased - record for Widow/Children *1901 CENSUS - There are <4> related persons in this household *Wife (remarried) and 2 daughters I've included this info in my post as I thought it might help you locate the right records etc. I hope this makes sense! Cheers Rebecca x
