HI I am trying to locate any info on my grandmother Charlotte Bruckshaw who was born in Birmingham 11 July 1901. Dont know her parents names .Seem to have come to dead end I know Charlotte married Joseph Taylor 22nd July 1923(?) Would love info on who Charlotte's parents were as these would be my great grandparents. All I know is they all came from Birmingham. My mother is not sure of who Charlotte's father was she thought it was a Henry Bruckshaw and her mother was Mary Chambers . My grandmother used to tell me that her father was a coach smith but Henry doesnt seem to have done that trade. There is a John Bruckshaw around the same time born 1866 who was a coach smith and his wife was Evangeline . I know my grandmother had many many brothers and sisters. Could they be her parents. Many thanks for any info as I seem to be going mad. Vanessa.

Hi Debra (Charles Chubb 1855) that did cross my mind that they could have married in Ireland, but have no more imformation on Maria Harding. Would you, if its not too much trouble, be able to find where he was born in Devon as so far I have had no luck, seems not to appear on anything until the census !! He's been a right little devil to find ! Thanks for your help so far, best wishes, Janine

Hi Deb, Could you see what there is on Bridget Mckeginey (1847). She was married to Michael Flynn (1845) ). I have been told that both were born in Ireland. They were married in England at St. Beed's Church, Jarrow, Durham in May of 1866. I haven't found any other Mckeginey's and now wonder if the name is misspelt. I am hoping that she came over from Ireland with other family members before getting married. Their daughter Sarah Flynn (1870) was my g-g-g grandmother. I am looking for information about other siblings, locations, occupations, anything etc. Especially any links to Bridget's family. I got her last name from the marriage certificate to Michael Flynn. Her father's name is listed on the certificate as James McKeginey. Any help in tracking down Bridget's family is appreciated. Thanks for your kind offer. Joanne

Hi, Could you please do the following lookups for me. I'm trying to trace the parents of Samuel Heath born 1831/2 in Cheddlestone, Staffordshire. From what I have seen, there appears to be some confusion over whether the father was George or William. I know that in the 1851census it has been transcribed that he was a servant, but I have viewed the original document & it looks as if it says son on there. Basically could you try & follow him through to see what you think. Also I cant find his son, William, born in Monmouthshire in 1867, 1 of about 9 children, so any assistance with that would be appreciated as well. I would like to get the GRO ref. so that I can apply for his birth certificate. William married Clara Heath (also born Monmouthshire 1872), daughter of Enoch & Jane Heath, also of Cheddleton in 1889. I think that they were distantly related & would like to prove this, so if you find any links then well done. Happy hunting & thanks very much. Julie
