Hi Mary. I don't have access to the information, but Ancestry shows: 'Passenger and Immigration Lists Index, 1500s-1900s Record: Joseph Mumford, b c1827, arrival 1871 - Ontario.' Wondering if there is additional information. Thank you, Mary.

Hi Mary, me again. Thank you for looking up information regarding Canada and my Lemmons. I have had some more information on Henry Lemmon born 1844, he went to California and died there in 1916. He also married again to Emily Jackson Lemmon. His first wife Harriett and the three children Charles, Harry and Frank returned to England (I am not sure when). Would you be able to find anything using these details?

Hi, Mary, I am hoping you can help me continue a seach of the SHERWOOD family. Charles Sherwood Born Abt. 1844 & his wife Mary Ann Sherwood Abt 1845. I have located them in the census of 1881 and this was in Barking, Essex. I would especially like to find them in the census of 1871 and to not only know any other family members but the address in which they were living. I would appreciate any information you may be able to give. Thank you, Alan Porter

SHARON NEWBURY Hi Sharon. I have found them on the 1891 census but on the 1901 Census Gerrard is not with his family. it has Sarah down as Head but does state that she is married. I could not find him anywhere else on his own. It is possible that being a Coal Miner that he was working at the time of the Cenus. If you send me your e mail address I will forward the images. I also found his marriage. Gerrard Higson Married Sarah Ann Harrison in the Jan to March Quarter 1874 Vol 8c Page 307 Regards Mary
