Hello Pen, No, its not the right one- nice try though!- the parents were Walter b.1840 Marylebone and Eliza b.1838 Holborn. But I dont know if they were still alive then in 1901. There was also a daughter named Lollie b. 1890 Clapham though I have no idea what 'Lollie' would be short for. regards Annie

Hello Pen, I see you have just found my family on the 1881 census. On the 1891 census the family was at 4 Porterlad (?) Terrace,Hackney North,London. Are you able to find any of them on the 1901 census? They seem to have disappeared ater 1891.. regards Annie

Sorry Annie - But ancestry is playing me up - brings up loads of results for completly diffrent search input. I think it must be because they have changed it on there it was playing up last night as they were loading it. Looks like you still search 1851 the same at the mo. Hello again Pen, do you have 1841 Scotland on a Peter Conoly a Traveller and Jane Conoly born Edinburgh 1797 nee Buchanan(different variations of surname spelling of Conoly) They had a son Thomas born in 1822 in Edinburgh. If nothing shows up they may have moved to N.E England as Thomas married a Margaret Appleby (b 1825 Gateshead) in 1845 in Newcastle. Any relatives that show up will be ace. Many Thanks Richard

Charles Robert Morsley is definitely their child (James Joh Morsley m Mary Hinton). The others I have only found in the IGI so far - in each case the father is given accurately as James John Morsley (and Morsley is fairly uncommon) and mother as Mary - which is why I have thought they might be the same family. What address does it give on the B/C? Might be they came down to visit and then went back. Pen x

I think their children are Mary Maria Morsley b 26 Jan 1825 Woolwich, John b 1829 Lambeth, Emily b 1836 Stepney and Charles Robert b 25 Nov 1845 East End of London. The children seem rather spreadout and the birth places move about a bit so it would be lovely to find them in 1841, 1851 or 1861 or anywhere! Pen Unfortunately I don't have much other information. The daughter Isabella lived at 14 Caithness Street, Glasgow when she married Alexander Dickson/Dixon on 31 Dec 1862. He lived at 15 Caithness Street. His parents were John Dixon and Mary Tinto. Also Isabella might have been known as Reid instead of Reddie?
