Pam No luck with William Kendrick on the 1841 - Charles Davis on the 1841 - no luck as yet Is this him on the 1851 for referance? Name: Charles Davis Age: 39 Estimated birth year: abt 1812 Relation: Head Gender: Male Where born: St. Georges, Middlesex, England Civil parish: Stepney Ecclesiastical parish: Limehouse St James County/Island: Middlesex Country: England Registration district: Stepney Sub-registration district: Ratcliff ED, institution, or vessel: 12 Neighbors: View others on page Household schedule number: 60 Household Members: Name Age Charles Davis 39 Thomas Sowary 14 ************************************************************************** Added by Pamela Ward on 29/07/2006 11:20:17 Hi Pen sorry for the delay in replying have been very busy. Yes that is the right Charles Davis on 1851 Census but have not had any luck in finding his family. Mary Davis wife 1818 Westminster Charles Davis son 1845 Westminster Emma Davis daughter 1847 Westminster Charlott Davis daughter 1849 Westminster Isabel daughter 1850 Westminster from 1861 Census The son Charles was an ironmongers apprentice so I presume Charles must have had a business away from the home where he probably stayed sometimes. By 1861 they were living in Plumpstead Strange about William Kendick as he was only 6 at time of 1841 census I don't appear to have 1851 for him so perhaps you could look for that one please but by 1861 he was married and living in Bethnall Green Middx With Thanks Pamela ******************************** For my ref 1861 Name: William Kendrick Age: 27 Estimated birth year: abt 1834 Relation: Head Spouse's name: Margaret Gender: Male Where born: St Georges in East Civil parish: Bethnal Green Ecclesiastical parish: St Andrew County/Island: Middlesex Country: England Registration district: Bethnal Green Sub-registration district: Church ED, institution, or vessel: 6 Household schedule number: 159 Household Members: Name Age Ann Kendrick 1 Elizabeth Kendrick 6 Margaret Kendrick 33 Richard Kendrick 4 William Kendrick 27 Unable to find him on the 1851 either....can't find a marriage for him either.
