Kerri is defiinitely still around...maybe hasn't seen this one though, I know there is a newer thread than this for her SA & Vic lookups.

Apologies to Kerri for stepping in but I have found the marriage you are looking for, Margaret - it is registered as Wm WALKINSON to Anne WALTER in 1862 (reg 3811). They had a son named Isaac born the same year in Collingwood, as WATKINSON (reg 1621). You would need to get the certificate to find the date and place: you can order an uncertified image fairly cheaply (by Australian standards anyway, not compared to UK prices!).

Looks like the WATKINSONs then moved to NSW? Another son Edward W born 1865. Son Isaac died in NSW in 1909.

Louisa Hannah Singleton born about 1886 in Victoria
Florence Gertrude Singleton born about 1888 in Victoria

Their father was William Chapman Singleton he died in Bourke, Victoria in 1940 and the two daughters were named on his death certificate. Their mother was Sarah Elizabeth Creighton born 1864 in Greensborough, Victoria.

thay arrived in south australia in about 1853 or 1854

I am looking for any info on my gt uncle Thomas Canning born Glasgow 1935 but joined the Big Brother Scheme late 40's early 50's and left for Sydney. Not sure what happened to him but we all would love to find out. He may have got a job shearing sheep but the last the family heard he was trying to buy a pub/hotel. Can you please help me find out any info.

This might be a big ask but I am seeking the deaths in SA of Thomas and Jane HART (nee HENDY) both born c1808. They would have died after 1847. Both born in Cornwall if it helps, but I don't have parents names.

Also any births to this couple after 1842 please.

I believe that this is not the John Williams I am chasing although a Mason's labour would fit my John.
He had a son Thomas Henry b. 1881 in S.A. and later came to W.A. Thomas appears to have married a woman called Fanny.

I have been reading you site , you are doing a wonderful service.

Can you help me with a James Hood and his wife Margaret (nee O'neil) who arrived in to Victoria in about 1838. I have no knowledge of which boat I believe they were from Ireland and he died about 1858 and she may have died about 1840..
