Lesley I have him on the 1901 census when he was already married to ellen and he was a bootmaker(cobbler) and they had two daughters my grandfather wasnt born until 1902. As my grandfather and father have passed on I have no one to ask for any information. The strange thing is my mother remembers my grandfather living in water lane in Brixton. Would it be easier to find out about his family working back from 1901 rather than the way I went back to his childhood. If you could find any further information for me I would realy appreciate it best wishes ruth

Could you look in the 1841 for the following I have a William Moon born Stockton who appears in the 1851 census as 23 years occ painter, living at 4 Penny Yard,Darlington. If you find him and have time could try and follow his parents through the 61,71 etc Thanks Angus

Thankyou for the offer is it possable to locate the marrage of John Faulkner born c 1820 to Ann Amos born c1825 I would think they were married in or around Ospring or Null areas of Kent .I am tryint to find there parents but apart from the fact that they had at least six children between 1839 and 1850 I cant find their marrage.
