Hi Zoe, Here is the info I have. On my grandmothers (Ellen Margaret FOOT born 1903)birth cert. Father: Frederick William FOOT ( born 1868 in Pancras, let's call him Fred jnr) occupation Electric Cable Linesman. Mother: Kate FOOT nee CLEMENTS nee HEAD (born 1869 in dorking) address Norwood, Uxbridge. 1901 census Frederick William FOOT (let's call him Fred Snr.) b1842 in Pancras, occupation Organ Builder. Wife- Marguerite Alexandrine FOOT nee BROWN c1847 in Bow Surrey. addresss 42 Tunis Rd Hammersmith parish. plus children George & Alfred, Fred jnr is not there in 1901 census. Can't find him. Kate CLEMENTS nee HEAD who is widowed in 1900, is at home with father Charles HEAD at Dorking, Surrey in 1901 census. Kate & Fred jnr must get married between 1900 & 1903, have Ellen(1903) then William Frederick (1905). Kate dies at childbirth in 1905 and Frederick W. jnr disaapears forever! Kate is buried as Kate FOOT in Southall. on freebmd, in March 1903 Kingston a Kate CLEMENTS is listed. She is one of 5 people on the page, usually even numbers of 2 or 4 are listed as they make up a couple. hope this helps, cheers Lisa

Sharon Its a choice really the second marriage cert you know is definatly her ~ better to be safe than sorry!! So then you would have fathers name on there if it is Lodge then I would order the first marriage cert to George Warren. Betty Upto about 1915ish depending on name and place it maybe on http://freebmd.rootsweb*com/ these are not fully transcribed as yet. You can look through the GRO index(scans of the pages) for free on Ancestry goto homepage and scroll down under the main search box next to list of census years you should see BMDs BETA click on that and enter Births enter surname and years then search through. Remember to note if there are any quarters missing as there are a few Happy hunting!! Zoe

Hi Zoe, Sorry about this but as i can't go any further back due to their great great grandparents coming from Ireland. I just though I would try and find their children by going forward.. The two family's married names are McCall and Wharton but of course don't know christian names of any children born after 1901. I am very sure they would have had more than one child. Hi Zoe George was their son and the two girls were hers . The address for the 81 is different to 71 that was at Marylebone i think or round there Sheperdess walk is near Hackney or comes under it . so is my best bet the marriage cert ? she must have died they were poor and she was illterate so i dont think they would have divorced .How do i go about getting their marriage cert i tried to get it in Gloucester but because i couldnt give a place or parish they couldnt do it so how do i find that out ? thanks Debbie
