Hello Jane, I'm back again and I have a real tricky one this time!!!! In the 1841 census of my gg grandfather Egisippo Luigi Norchi there is a lady Elizabeth Gathers b ca 1819 Middlesex. Now in Oct 1840 there was a son of Egisippo's born with a mother of Elizabeth Galliers - Julio Paul Galliers Norchi. I have looked up the IGI for an Elizabeth Gathers and there is nothing - but there is an Elizabeth Gallier born in Surrey with a father of William and a mother of Catherine. Sooooo... it's a bit of a long shot but can you please see if you can find William and Catherine Gallier(s) in the 1841 census. I am desperate to find Julio Paul Galliers Norchi as he was not in the household with his father and mother and may well be with his grandparents.They may be mistranscribed as Gathers (like Elizabeth). There was a William Galliers born in 1844 in Westminster who later called one of his sons Julio Paul so I believe them to be brothers. Thank you sooooooooooo much Liz xx

Jane, Many Thanks for your reply.Unfortunately have no more information on Sarah/Sally WARD as following her marriage1849,in Louth,she left for Australia and never gave any information as to where she was born or about her Mother,which has survived. It is only from her Marriage Cert. that we know her as Sarah Mary Theresa WARD daughter of Sarah. Thank You for looking, Thelma.

Hi thelma, you didn't say how old Sarah would be in 1841, but this is the only Sarah Ward in Louth, that would be of an age to get married in 1849............................
