Hi, I am trying to trace my great grandma, I dont know much about her though. I know her maiden name was SCOTHERN and she married a GOUGH. She had a son in 1932 called Sidney Gough and they were from Beeston Nottingham.

Hi Lesley My knowledge of English geography is pathetic - this possibly is him. I do have John & Sarah & familiy on '71, '81,'91 & 1901 census. . I am hoping to find something in 1851 or 1861 census to find out who his parents were. Planning to order John & Sarah' marriage cert next month. If you could find anything on the '51 or '61 censu would be really appreciated. Thanks for locate of birth - had been unable to find that. Closest I came was a John Govinghy Thompson.
