Please would you see if you can find Sainthill Lindsey, spelling is variable, with his family. He married Elizabeth Hooper in St George in the East in 1791, his children included Elizabeth, Mary, John,George, Ellen, Arthur, mostly bap. St Clement Danes. I can find His wife and 2 of his daughters of the 1851, but need a place of birth for him if at all possible and also, very nicely, please, William Kearns, born Kilkenny, Ireland.in about 1809. a solicitor or a clerk - probably clerical. He had a brothers Robert and John, and a wife Mary Ann.. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Rosi

Thank you for your kind offer of help. I am trying to find out where any Millingen family lived in 1841. Believed Whitechapel or Spitalfields or that area. Joseph Millingen and family and Charles Millingen and family. Think Joseph was in the gold/jewellery trade while Charles was a manufacturer of umbrellas and parasols. I have them on 1851 onwards censuses but do not know where they were prior to this. I would be grateful for any help. Julie

Hi Lorraine Re Charles & Maria Pratt. Thank you very much for doing the lookup but unfortunately, I don't think this is the right couple. I did come across another Charles & Maria on the IGI with baptisms of children in Westminster which would not have fitted with the baptisms of William & Maria in Isleworth. I think the couple that you found would be a bit younger than my 2x Great Grandparents. Since they were not found in Isleworth on the 1841, they could possibly have moved somewhere else. Did you come across any other Charles & Maria Pratts? Sorry to be a pain, but could you please have another look if it is not too much trouble. Regards Ann

Hi Lorraine I am trying to find information on my 2xGreat Grandparents. They were Charles Pratt and wife Maria (Wiginton, married in 1827 in Heston) Their children William Pratt and Maria Pratt were baptised in Isleworth in 1830 & 31. Someone has already checked Isleworth 1841 and not found them. Could you possibly check surrounding area for them please. I would be very grateful as I have no other information on them other than William 1871 onwards in Staffordshire. Thanks in advance. Ann

Hi Lorraine It's a possibility as my John was married to a Mary Todman, but I believe she was born in Westminster, not Paris. They did have a William and a John but the ages don't fit too well. I don't believe they had a David though. Thanks for your help. Maybe I can ask someone on this site to look at the 1851 census to see whether the information is maintained. All the best Ron
