Thanks so much for taking the trouble to look for me. I have a will for William Bawcomb in 1839 and he was living in Paddington. Hoped his family would still be in the area, but it seems not. Thanks anyway, much appreciated.

Hello again Lorraine, could you do another '41 census look up please. It's for William Edward Goodyear b c 1792 in Aldgate area of London his wifes name was Emma. Also hope to find Sarah Elizabeth Goodyear b 1815 in Aldgate,Regards Michael

Hi Lorraine It's a possibility as my John was married to a Mary Todman, but I believe she was born in Westminster, not Paris. They did have a William and a John but the ages don't fit too well. I don't believe they had a David though. Thanks for your help. Maybe I can ask someone on this site to look at the 1851 census to see whether the information is maintained. All the best Ron
