I'm trying to find where in Ireland the Skeffingtons & Stories came from. The names are spelt various ways on each certificate I have. William Skeffington born about 1816 Ireland his Father was Louis Skeffington & his Mothers maiden name was Craig. Margaret Storie born around 1817 Ireland her Father was Thomas Storie & her Mother Elizabeth Campbell. They went over to Ayrshire in the 1820's & settled in St Quivox where they married. I think Thomas & Elizabeth & her siblings also went over to St Quivox. Please help someone! Thanks Sue |
