Hi Dawn, Thank you for the offer, I didn't want to bother you when your that close, but here goes I'm trying to find the parents of William Henry dob 1796 and Margaret dob 1806 ( I don't have her surname) I found them on the 1841 census and they were living at Boultach, Latheron. Their children were Christina 14, Donald 7, Robina 5, Helen 3and Alexander 2. I've tried searching for their births and marriage but keep coming up empty handed. Any info would be greatly appreciated. yvonne

Right I tried to see if I could find any of the children anywhere in the county of Caithness, no joy. So checked the whole of Scotland still nothing. Then tried to find William and Margaret's marriage, still nothing. So tried William's birth and found this possible, just 2 years out, so might be him, only a father listed. Hi Dawn, Thank you for looking for me. Can I be cheeky and ask you to look for another please. They are Donald Mckay and Elizabeth Thompson they got married on 23/11/ 1838 at Auchtergaven, Perth. I have been stuck on them for ages so if you can find anything it will be a bonus. I got the info from family search org so I don't know how reliable it is I know they had a daughter Elizabeth dob 1850 who married a William Downie but I don't know when. yvonne
