Hello again David (on page 10) I think its a good job we tried those last three years!! Mar 1861 Sarah Margaret MAINWARING Worcester 6c 195 So she would have died shortly before the 1861 census, which if I remember correctly fits in with your research? :O) And in answer to your question re Dudley district and area, take a look here: http://www.fhsc.org.uk/genuki/REG/wor.htm HTH Louise

All living at 27 Villas Road, Plumstead. I couldn't find him in 1891 under either spelling :O( Could this be our Edward's birth? Dec 1865 Edward John LOCK (no e at the end!) Westbourne 2b 345 As for James, there seems to be a big difference in his year of birth in the 1881 and 1901 censuses, so let me know which years you'd like me to try birth refs for! Also, let me know if you want me to try deaths again, but this time using the spelling without the 'e' at the end! Hope this helps, Louise :O)

Hello Again Louise Is it possible to have one more look up please? Unfortunately I am not sure of dates, but would appreciate if you could look from 1956 to 1957 for a death for my Gt Grandmother Mary Skilleter, she would have died in the London/Middlesex area. My Dad recalls meeting her as a young boy and he was born in 1951. Mary was born 1878. Thankyou and Happy New Year Danielle

Hi I wondered if anyone is doing a look up whether they could try to look up some details for me. Im stuck in trying to find my grandad's parents. My grandad George Kenneth Hancox was born January 1905 died in February 1977. I do not have a birth certificate for him. It appears on the documents that his father did not have a middle name but was also called george hancox. I do know that George (my grandad) was one of 8; Nora Hancox (married - Southall), William Hancox (died Sept 1987) & Herbert Hancox (twins), Ben Hancox, Ernest Hancox (youngest), Elsie Hancox (Married to Frank Mears she died 2004), Floss Hancox (married Archibald Arblaster). As a child my grandad lived in his teens in Cemetry Road, Cannock. any information would be great. Andrea

Hi Louise me again Just wondering if you could possibly search for my grandmas second marriage she would have been Lily Kellett marrying a Hopkins/Hopkinson - a name like that anyway had it before but have mispaced it -you know how it gets Marriage should be in the Leeds or Bradford area could we first try the years 1869-1870 as I'm sure my uncle is only a couple of years older than me and she had a son not long after being married. Thanks again and again Zoe

Jeanette Report 30 Dec 2005 18:52

Many thanks again Louise, you trooper. All this misspelling and aliases doesnt make our lives any easier does it? Grandma Honora Leary had the cheek to call herself Daisy on the census but I tracked her down on the bmd marriages, so perhaps my James on that census is a middle name. My Dad was Albert Cecil John Locke and everyone called him Chris!!?? I'll try an open plea for help on census, but so far they are not on any I've had access to. Very best of luck with treebuilding in 2006 to everyone. Jeanette
