Lilly the flower Report 26 Nov 2005 23:41

Hi Mary, it would be great if you could help with this one, I think the 1851 census might be the best......she is Harriet Dennington, b abt 1831, (according to the 1891 census) she was born in the Old Kent Road, London....thats all I have I'afraid. I know she was married by abt 1871, to a man named Taylor, and her first child to my knowledge was born 1871, when she would have been able 40 odd which seem late to me to be having a first child...anyway....any help would be great...but please don't worry if you can not find her in the 1851.......thank you......Lilly

Hi Mary, Many thanks for all your help, I really appreciate it. You must have spent a few hours looking for them over the week. It is very kind of you. Regards, Andy P.S. Could it be that they just want to be 'laid to rest'. :)

Hi Mary Would you be able to compare addresses in 1881/91? I have Selina Hutt born c1854 Lambeth Surrey in 1891 I have the image and it looks like 19 Arthur St, St Luke London In 1881 she is here: Selina Hutt abt 1860 Lambeth, Surrey, England Daughter in Law 19 Catherine St, St Leonard Shoreditch, London, England Could you check both images to make sure they are separate addresses as Arthur & Catherine might look the same with bad handwriting. Thanks April

Hi Lisa J I had not missed your lookup, just spent ages looking to no avail.I even searched page by page the 1851 census for Albury, but nothing .I suspect they are badly mistranscribed and it will take a minor miracle to find them
