Trace, here is one to get your teeth into re the 1851. Thomas Taylor born Clapham, 1836. Father Thomas StephenTalor, licenced victualler of Wimbledon, Rose and Crown Inn. NOW, I have no problem in finding the dad and mum and bro and sis at the Rose and Crown in 1851 but where is Thomas (my GGfx3)? He married 1857 Clapham to an Ann Upton of Tiverton, Devon. Her father was George, deceased licenced victualler, Thomas' dad also a deceased licensed victualler and Thomas himself a licensed victualler on his marriage cert. Cant see him on the 1851 - perhaps its me age. I could only find one right year and birth place but he is shown in Northampton, son of a draper?

I think I have found John on the 1871 as a lodger, he married in 1875, on his marriage cert his father George was deceased and I have him on the 1881-1901 censuses. Once again thank you for checking. Best wishes Joanne Neave-Jones
