Sorry Margaret, I can't see anything else that looks like it might be him. I did find a Dinah, born c1822 Scotland, living in Cumbria. She's on her own though.

Ooops, for Cape should have said Wilfred's parents were a John and Dinah. John was dead before the 1851, haven't tracked down when Dinah died (another mystery).

Victoria, you need to find the marriage of Cornelius. I had a quite look and didn't find one before 1920, so you will need to start somewhere arouns 1921. You will have to search through the GRO register, which is available from records offices (many libraries have these) or online (for a fee) at 1837online. There are 348 Florences born c1901 in Monmouthshire.

Tracey - i'm new at this and need a starting point to get back further on my mother's father's side. My GGM was called Florence May - but no-one can remember her maiden name. She married Corneilus Sidney Mason (born 1905) and had three children - Sidney Morgan (born 18.4.24) and twins Florence and Cornelius. I know she was born in 1901 so hopefully on census in Cefn Forest/monouthshire area. any advice on where to find info?
