Hi Tracy Did you have any luck with Henry Hollyoak on the 1871? Think the whole family must have gone into hiding or on a boat maybe? Alas I might never know Thanks for looking anyway Tracy! Best Wishes Kaz

Jackie, I just checked the 1871 image. It says Wem, which I do think is a place in Shropshire. Not sure where though. I'll have another look in 1861.

Hello Tracy As you were so brilliant last time, I thought I'd try again! Can you find the death of Noah WINFIELD probably in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk after 1841. He was born in Norfolk in 1887. Someone has already found a Noah Whitefield who died there in December 1848, so maybe he's registered as that. I can't find him after the 1841 Census in Bury. Thanks again Jane

A few folks have aready tried for me and I've tried umpteen times myself, but I still live in hope that he will turn up one day, mis-transcribed or otherwise: 1861 Census please Wilfred Cape b 1841 Cockermouth I have him in 1841 as a baby, in Cockermouth, Cumberland 1851 as a 10 yr old and already working ' ' 1871 as a 30yr old with young family in County Durham 1881 already dead (1878) Some mistrascriptions: Winifred; Capes To avoid confusion, there was another Wilfred Cape born Cockermouth in 1851.

Tracey - i'm new at this and need a starting point to get back further on my mother's father's side. My GGM was called Florence May - but no-one can remember her maiden name. She married Corneilus Sidney Mason (born 1905) and had three children - Sidney Morgan (born 18.4.24) and twins Florence and Cornelius. I know she was born in 1901 so hopefully on census in Cefn Forest/monouthshire area. any advice on where to find info?
