Hi Sheila If your disc has coverage of the Poulton Le Fylde area of Lancashire could you check mid 1700 for a birth/baptism for Newsham/newsome/newshaw (this is Christian name ) followed by a surname that looks like Cumpsty Cumsty Cumpsted comstie or however they chose to spell it that time. Hi, Sheila, My rellie JAMES CLEMENTS was born about 1842 in ATTLEBRIDGE, NORFOLK. His parents were William Clements and Mary Bushell. Hus birth was not registered, so I can't get a Birth Cert. Can you trace any baptism for him, please? He had a brother GEORGE abt 1848 in Reephan, Norfolk, and I believer a younger sister, but I have no information about her.
