Hi again Ickle, I'm not sure if you can help me with this one or not but please could you have a look at ref: H17-2317-1 page 491 if you have it for 1851 Yorkshire. Hoping to find Attack on there. If this ref isn't on you discs, no problem and thanks for reading. Pam

Hi Jenny, I am really sorry to disapoint but half of the 51 census for Barnsley is destroyed and the areas you wish for your look up is this part. There is only Nether Hoyland, Wombwell and that area that has survived. Regards Claire x

Hi Pam, I am not having much look with your Atack family at all. I do have the right disk but page 491 is just an introduction to the Holbeck area. Is it definately 491 that you have? Let me know a few more details of the family. Regards Claire x

Hi Flick, Do you have any addresses at all for Thomas? Do you have what address he was born at? The Keighley area is too large to search with out an address or at least an area. Let me know if you have any more info which will help me. Regards Claire x

Claire, Thank you for looking for me, the HEWITT family are proving to be very elusive, there is no trace of them on the 1861 either. Thank you, Jenny x

Hi Flick, Sorry to be a pain to ask you for more info. How sure are you of Thomas' father being William? I think i can see the 71 census of Thomas in Bingley, Chapel Lane and the father is George?? Please tell me if i am looking at the wrong image. If you have the 71 details, who is the father and mother and were there any siblings? It just helps as there is no index for Keighley and it goes over two disks. Many thanks Claire x

Hi Claire, Sorry for the delay to reply, computer problems, still having blips... Thank you for your reply. I got my information for Attack from The geneaslogist web site, the area was Hunslet. I'm sorry I don't have any more info apart from ref: H17-2317-1...pg 491. Don't worry if you can't find it...they'll turn up somewhere...:) Thanks again Pam

Hi Pam, Does the page give you the first name or names of the Atack's that you are looking for at all? I will double check it all again later, just off to work now but will be back around 8ish i think. Hunslet is huge so i was hoping it would give an area at all. the page 491 was an introduction to the Holbeck area of Hunslet, would that sound right for the family you are looking for? Claire x

Hi Pam, Just looked at the Hunslet disk again and the folio number 491 is definately just an introduction to the Holbeck area. Does the website you use give the folio number at all rather than a page number, i cannot locate a page number at all, just folio. Wonder if they are meant to be the same thing. Is Holbeck the correct area for your Attack couple to be in? Do you have them in 61 at all? Regards, Claire x

Hi Gary, Please may i ask for a little bit more info to help me search. Is the full name i am looking for Thomas Goldsborough Sutcliffe? Do you have any idea at the names of his parents or one parent at all? Is it Keighley itself where he should be are one of the districts there? Thanks Claire x

Hi Claire Thanks for looking, sorry to be a pain with this one. On 'The Genealogist' web site that is all the information it gives. It does give 491 as the page number. i did try to query this with the site earlier but when I clicked on the 'query' button it told me my session had expired and to log on again, which I did a few times but still came up with the same message. In 1861 the family were in Sowerby and James was a Railway engine stoker. Don't worry about this if you can't find anything, I will email the site and see if I can get any answers from them. Thanks again for your trouble. Pam
