Thanks Lesley. You are a gem - this is definiately the one! The name WILLIAM POUND has come up before when census were taken in later years and (what I now know) were relatives staying with them on census night. Thank you for verifying more than one fact! Lynne

Hi Lesley, Thank you for your offer. Can you please do a marriage lookup for me for: EMILY LEWSLEY b. 1843, Pancras. between 1851 and 1861. She is on the 1851 census as living with parents John and Catherine Lewsley but not on 1861 census. Most family occasions seem to have taken place at Old Church Pancras. Thank you, Lynne

Thank you Lesley, I am now wondering if this Robert Mavin was an uncle to Annie rather than father. I have sent off for birth cert so hopefully it will become clearer. I know Annie is on 1901 census and is 12 and living in bedlington, if you have time would you please let me know who she is living with?

Hi Lesley cheekily posting request before I too am off to bed! I am looking for Caroline AMES/WINSLOW born c1819 Shadwell, London. I have her in 1851 at home in Shadwell with father Thomas. Her occupation dressmaker. In 1881 she is at the home of her deceased sister Rebecca FAVELL along with her other sister Amelia Now she is Caroline WINSLOW widow occupation nurse. I can't find a marriage for Caroline to a Winslow on FBMD so I don't know when she married. I hoping you can see her in 1861/71 to possibly find husbands name and any children. There is a death for a Caroline Winslow in 1899 which is probably her (right area + age) so she should be in the 1891 census too! thanks for looking Lesley netti x
