Hi Jackie, Please may i ask for a look up in Brierley Hill. I am looking for a Longmore family, head Thomas with wife Mary. I dont think there will be children with them as they will have grown up and moved on but the 41 census had sons William and Thomas with them. Regards Claire x

hi sheila i'm sorry i have looked at all the lanes but can't find thomas, do you have any of them in 1861, the only thing i could find is a maria aged 59 with 5 children she is in walsall. jackie.

Thanks Jackie, what would I do without your help. A few days ago you did a look up for me, the address was ireland and should have been Higherland. I have since discovered that ireland was the local name for the area due to the number of irish immigrants living there. Great way to learn history this genealogy. Julie

Hi Jackie, Can you please find a thomas Griffiths for me. From ther daughters marriage in 44 I know he was living in Knutton Heath and that he was a Hatter. I assume he was born before 1800 as his daughter was born in 1816. Many thanks Julie
