Hi Jacqueline Thanks for your kind offer. I found my 3xGreat Granddad Joseph Careless/Carless on the 1841 census living at The Green, Darlaston, born Staffs I think around 1786. I was hoping to find him on the 1851 to find out where he was born but unfortunately have just discovered he died in 1844. His son, also Joseph was baptised in 1820 in Bilston and his wife Mary was born in Wednesbury,c 1791. Is there any chance you could look for Careless/Carless, born c 1780-90 in the towns mentioned, please, in the hope it will give me some leads re possible siblings and where to look for baptisms. I would be very grateful. Thanks Ann

Hi Jackie Sorry I'm not exactly sure where Eliza was born I just know she lived in Birmingham from 1861, there seems to be a connection with the cannock area and Penkridge. I apologise if I have wasted your time Jackie only I'm not exactly sure when B'ham, Staffs changed from or to Warwickshire. OOOerr brain hurting from all this ancestry stuff!! Many thanks Karen

Hi Jackie, I wonder if you can help me please. I'm looking for a load of Mills, from Tipton. Jonas Mills, b.1823 Enoch Mills, b.1825 Mary Ann Mills, b.1826 (may be married, so don't worry about her) The rest of the family (barring hubby, Enoch, b.1801 - who I can't find on ANY census) are at home with mother Mary. I'd like to find out if any of them married, and if so to whom. If this isn't enough info, or Tipton is too large to search, don't worry about it :) Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi Jacqueline Thanks for your message and information on the Carless/ Careless family, don't worry about the Bayley's address, I already have them at Church Street, Darlaston. This family is causing me a lot of confusionI I have just also found a Willenhall connection too. I know you have done a lot of work for me finding all these others, but if it is not too much to ask, could you possibly look up the Careless/Carless families in Willenhall as well please, I would be eternally grateful!! Many, many thanks. Ann

Hi Jacqueline Me again! Could i just ask, please, if there was an age given for Joseph Careles, uncle, wid, blank tray maker born Salop, Dawley, living with George Williams at 17 Temple Street, Bilston. Have had a death cert today for, possibly, my 3xGt Grandfather Joseph Careless, died in 1844 and the informant was Edward Careless from Bilston and you found me an Edward at 145 Temple st, Bilston, so I am even more confused now!! Ann (Dorothy)
