Hi Jackie Thanks for looking in Haunton but no Charles and Caroline arnt the right ones Please if you have the time could you look in Clifton Campville as a lot of the family were born lived there CHARLES THORPE b Haunton and c Harlaston 1829 Wife ELIZABETH b Austrey Warwickshire. --Iam not sure whether Eliz will be with Charles as their marr was the 2nd quarter of 1851. Charles wasnt with his parents in 1851 WILLIAM THORPE C 1783 Clifton Wife ELIZABETH ( Both were still alive in 1851) Thank you very much Marion in oz

Jacqui Re Charles Allen, thank you. He had a 13 year old son in 1881 which means he could have been born c 1868. Caharles senior was 37 in 1881 so would have been 17 in 1861. Does it say what he was apprenticed in? it says on Frederick's birth certificate that he was a chemist and druggest (master) which indicates he was an apprentice at some time. The famil has no idea of wher he might have trained. Thanks for your help JA

Hi Jacqui I have this family in 1861 could you have a look to see if there are any other siblings to Ann Byard (nee Dowell) in 1851 if it helps she was baptised at ,all saints in alrewas. Hi Jackie Dont know if I am too late but could you possibly look for the following for me. Charles Ward (age 21 ish) a Sawyer (b) Stourport Hannah Ward (age 18 ish) (b) Shropshire They married in March 1850 Tipton, they resided at Great Bridge. Might perhaps be with relies - His dad was also a Charles Ward (a Sawyer). Thanks Jan

Hi Jackie Can you find Richard Ashley for me in Madeley. I guess he would have been born before 1800. I knoe there are Ashleys in the village but I can not find anything on him or his daughter who married in 1837. Many thanks Julie

hi jacqueline I'm not sure of area but henry and william were christened in old swinford and serena was married in kingswinford. hope this helps. thanks jodee.

Jacqueline, Thanks for the offer... please could you look for a STOKES family, probably West Bromwich area: Father George Stokes born abt 1813 Mother Harriet Stokes Son: Thomas Stokes born abt 1840, West Bromwich Probably other children but don't know any other names, hope this is enough info, Regards, Annette

Hi Jackie Thanks for coming back to me - The Ward family were in Nelson Street West, Birmingham in 1861. They gave their address when married as Great Bridge and it seems that their first child Sarah Ann born approx 1852/53 was born in West Bromwich. Is that any use. Thanks again Jan
