Jennifer E57a is the number of register/volume and 154 is the entry number. You would use this info to obtain a copy of the death certificate. Nikki

HI, Nikki, i have this info. from ancestry but do not know wht it means Irene Florence Roulstone b. 27 dec, 1927 died jan 1995 age 68 nottingham, london this is what i don't understand, what does E57A/154 mean please, thanks Jennifer

Oh I'm feeling lucky (not really). Let's go for Mary number 12, age 46 in South Brent. Also if she is a housekeeper for another family could you try Mary Ann age 10. Maybe the parents have had to put children in to a workhouse because of work issues? Paula

Paula From the name index I can only search for the head of the household which is why I've given you the Williams. To look for Mary herself I'd have to go through each enumeration district in the county which would take hours & hours & hours. Nikki
