Joan of Arc(hives)

Joan of Arc(hives) Report 2 Aug 2005 00:34

Hi Nikki Can you find a Christiana HUCKS for me? That was her married name she came from Dulthome Somerset & was born approx 1815. If you can trace her on 1851 census anywhere in Somerset that would be great. Thanks, Joan

Hi Nikki Yes, I'm sure the Sarah Harfield you found on the 1861 is Sarah Hatfield. Her Mother was born in Bomer Heath! Thank you very much, I really appreciate the lookup! Regards Ann

Hi Nikki, Thank you so much for looking for my Arthur and Stephen Masters. The results are certainly intriguing and give me something new to follow up on. Many thanks, Jeff

Hi Nikki You could well be right, although he appears as Edgar on the census of 1861 onwards, he calls himself by his second name, William, on the marriage certificate of his youngest son. In all other respects it looks a good fit, particularly as they come from a long line of carpenters. Thanks for your help Graham

Jeff No sign of Arthur anywhere I'm afraid. I have found the entry below for a Stephen Masters - age is out somewhat in the transcription, sadly I don't have the images to be able to verify this. Nikki As far as Edgar Bowles is concerned, his father was Thomas Bowles who would have been around 38 at the time of the 1851 Census and Edgar's mother was Ann Bowles - around the same age - no further information on siblings. Thanks Graham

Graham I've searched the whole of Cheltenham & the whole of Bath for them with no success, do you know who their parents were? The main indexes only list the heads of the household. Nikki
