Actually, I think she got married in 1891, so she wouldn't be a Snook anymore, she would have been a Swift. If you could find her as a Swift, that's be great. She married John Henry, who was born in 1859 in St George in the East, and had a daughter, Maud Elizabeth, who was born in 1890 in Mile End. Sporry for the mistake Cheers Debbie

All of Vals stuff... Would you please check a marriage for me, got a name for the bride- Emily Cambridge but only one male name shows on the entry. September 1859 in Wareham Norfolk, District Downham Hoping the other man will be Charles Burton. Charles Burton b.abt 1837from Wisbech married an Emily b.abt 1838 from Wareham Norfolk.(It must have been the Wareham near Downham Market as that it quite close to Wisbech. In 1861 Census she is shown as EMMA but in all later ones she is an EMILY. Their first child George was born in 1859 and when I searched that around that date, Emily Cambridge came up as a marriage partner in 1859 in Downham. Unfortunately, there were only three names on the entry Emily and another girl and one man, who wasn't Charles.

Morning Laura Thanks for your message. It's Charles Burton not Richard Burton!!! Getting mixed up with the film star eh. lol. Charles Burton b.abt 1837from Wisbech married an Emily b.abt 1838 from Wareham Norfolk.(It must have been the Wareham near Downham Market as that it quite close to Wisbech. Laura Report 26 Jun 2005 11:04

Hi again Jean, think this could be the birth of Josephs daughter, which would at least give you wifes name to search for marriage, Budd, Elizabeth Emma Record Type: Births Quarter: March Year: 1871 District: Chichester County: Sussex Volume: 2b

Laura

Laura Report 26 Jun 2005 10:47

Hi Jean, Joseph Budd is a very hard man to trace!!! He has changed his area of birth and wives frequently!!! Have some census for you, which gives wives' first names, you can then order certificates to get fathers names. Will have a look now though xx
