Hello Laura If you are still offering look ups I am trying to find a marriage William Atkinson b. l814 Leeds and Frances Elizabeth Gibson b. 1829 Gt.Whelnetham Suffolk I believe Frances was previously married to James Tennant in 1852, as her son William Tennant b. 1854 was living with them in Buckinghamshire. Hello Laura, thanks for your offer. My GGG grandmother died in 1880 in Barnsley, Yorkshire. The informant was A. SCHOLEFIELD, neice, present at the death. I have no idea who she is!! I have found a probable A. Scholefield in 1881. (its not a common name spelt like that and she's of the right sort of age). Could you find her in 1871/1861 please? The 1881 details are as follows. Ann Scholefield, 42, widow, born in Barnsley, Yorks, charwoman. If I can find out more about her I might be able to trace her back to one of GGG grandmother's sisters. Its so hard with the women! Thanks Anne PS. I have the census discs but Barnsley is a big place to trawl through without an index! |

1891 and 1901 look up please Hi Laura could you please look up a Charles Hollingsworth on the 1891 and 1901 census . In 1881 he was a baker living in Halstead,Essex Born in 1844 in Thaxted Essex. Some of his children were Frederick 1873 Halstead Jessie b1875 Halstead George b1877 Halstead Florance b1880 Halstead Percy b1883 Walter b1885 and Daisy c1887 His Ist wife Sarah died in 1886.
