Hi Mary Could you please look for a few marriages please Info I have: 1) John Fox b:1830 Smethcott he married march 1868 Church Stretton/Smethcott Shropshire no wifes name yet. 2) William Fox christened 1 march 1835 Smethcott shropshire married Sarah ???? b:c1840 Stapleton shropshire 3) Thos?Cope christened 4 jan 1680 Condover shropshire married Mary ball christened 24 may 1691 Condover. Also if you could find births/Parents of: 1)Eleanor Edwards she married another John Fox on 25 jan 1830 Smethcott shropshire. 2) Thomas Fox b:17?? he married Elizabeth Maddox on 11 sept 1787 Condover shropshire. 3) John Maddox b:17?? & Elizabeth Cope christened 21 may 1733 Condover they married on 22 apr 1757 Condover shropshire. William Fox / Sarah Peplow December Quarter 1867 Vol 6b page 716 Wolverhampton county of Shropshire Nothing for any of the others Im afraid Mary

KIRSTY DEVINE So sorry Kirsty cant do that one ancestry does not seem to cover the later years but will double check. Your best bet is 1837 online but you wuld have to pay for credits. Ancestry is a yearly subscription with unlimited searches but should I find anything I will certainly get back to you Mary

Thank you! In that case are you able to look up household for Frederick Martin (1864) and Alice Harriet Charlesworth (1870) in Frimley, Surrey for 1901 census? They married in 1887 so they should be on there. Thanks again Kirsty

I couldn't say - I'm new to this! There were some children born in Frimley, and then it looks like they moved to Hawley, Hampshire in time for the 1901 census. Is it possible to do 1891 and 1901 so I can get all the dates of birth for the children as they will have all been under 16 so it should show their ages. Thanks

Florance had many siblings - one of them being a Federick, along with Kate, William, Alice, Mary Violet and Dorothy Ada. It could be that Alice was using her middle name. They tended to do that in my family! Mary Violet was known as Vi to my Grandad!

KIRSTY DEVINE Wow that took some looking at on Ancestry half their names were mistranscribed so without childrens names nearly impossible, but found them in the end here goes Alice and Frederick were mistranscribed as Marton and their children down as Martin confusing or what 1901 Frederick Martin age 34 Born c1867 Suffolk (Weybread) Head Alice Matin Age 29 Born c1872 Camberley Wife Frederick Martin age 7 born C1894 Frimley Mary Martin age 5 Born c1896 Frimley William Martin age 4 Born c1897 Frimley Violet Martin age 1 Born c1900 Yaletley Hamps Rose Martin age 3 Born c1898 Frimley Dorothy Martin age 3 months Born c1901 Hawley Living Hawley Lane Hawley Hope this helps Mary

Hi Mary Thanks for offering to look up my grandparents marriage in the messages 24 May. I've since subscribed to 1837 online (i didn't know it existed as i'm still a novice!) and i've been looking so i thought i'd let you know to save you the trouble. I still can't find it though I think i'm on my way to finding out some other interesting facts about the family. You're doing a great job helping all these people! Kate
