Janet As Janet was born in 1910, the chances are that William and Mary may not even have been born in 1881. There are a couple of very young William Davie and Mary Sutherlands on there, but none of a couple together. I've checked Scotlandspeople for a marriage to try to get some idea of their ages, but with no luck. Until you have a little more info, we won't be able to know if any of these children might be your William or Mary. If you do know any more about them which would help us to narrow it down, I'd be happy to look again. Regards Ellen.

Suzanne I'm sorry, but if Ella was 16-25 in 1915, we're not going to find her on the 1881 census. If you know she was in Scotland, you'll need to look on www.scotlandspeople(.)gov.uk. Remove the brackets. Its pay per view but not terribly expensive. You can look for the 1901 census - but you will need a little more info to be able to find her without spending a fortune.
