Helen in Berkshire

Helen in Berkshire Report 9 Mar 2005 15:01

Hi Maureen You're very kind to offer this. Any chance of a look-up for the marriage of Peter MURPHY and Agnes CURREY somewhere around 1858 in either Ireland (where he is from born 1833?), Scotland (where she is from b. 1834?) or England (North-east, where their children were born) I am having terrible trouble trying to find any trace of this family, even on the census. Any help at all would be great, although I understand I'm asking rather a lot! Hope your foot is improving. Many thanks in advance Helen

Dear Maureen, If you're still there, I hope you don't mind if I trouble you for another look-up... the birth of an Alice Mary Mascot in Ireland about 1883 or 1884, father William Mascot. If they have Ireland on there that is, I think I heard that they do? I think it would be in Belfast but I'm not sure. Thanks ever so much. I only got her marriage certificate this morning or I would have asked before. Kate.

Maureen, thanks for the offer - and hope you have a quick recovery. Would it be possible to look for the marriage of John Waite to Hannah Maria (unknown surname) in Lincolnshire between 1855 and 1875. John's parents were Edward and Susan Waite. John was born in 1838 - Hannah in 1845. Kind regards, William

Kate Report 8 Mar 2005 17:43

Dear Maureen, If you have time, could you please look for the birth / christening of John Bristow in about 1776 - 1777 at Horsleydown, Surrey? (Also can be spelt Horseleydowns, Horselydown, Horslydown or Horseleydown). His father would be Robert. And if you find him, I would love to know if there were any brothers and sisters. I think there would be a James born about 1772 - 1773 and a Thomas but don't know when he was born. Thanks very much. Kate.

Pamela.
