Thank you so much for looking for me Joan. Please, please do keep her on your 'to do list' as I still am having such a job finding her prior to her marriage in 1851, or indeed, any of her family. On her marriage cert it states that her father was deceased, so there is another problem. Ho hum...... Thanks so much again for taking the time to look, and with all the other look ups you have managed, you are a real gem. Lisa xx

*Jill Kiddle* Hello Jill There’s no list, as such, for the District Holborn Union Industrial School as the children would have been from various schools. I found a reference to the Mitcham School (your census was Mitcham) in the Poor Law Union but it was too late to order the document. Do you want me to try again next time I go ? Joan x

*Pippa Winter* Hi Pippa, I’m sorry, I checked St.Andrew, Holborn for your marriage reference from Pallots and I didn’t find it. I checked 1829 from Jan-Dec and also checked the Bishops Transcripts for the same year in case it had got missed but still didn’t find it. I wonder if, in this instance, St.Andrew, Holborn on the slip, meant the Parish of, rather than the actual church. Just shooting in the dark really. Any suggestions ? Joan x
