Jenny - where were these people born? There quite a few under MorgAn, but I don't know which, if any, are yours.

Hi Tracy Don't worry about it........I have ordered the certificate anyway......just being impatient to find out who she was. The reason I don't know is that she was my Grandfathers first wife......we don't know any details about her except she had around 10 children by him!!! Thank you so much for looking again for me....very much appreciated. Peter

Peter - there are thousands of people registered in Fulham. Do you have any idea what her first name should be?

Hi Tracey Can you please check out all the British Census returns you have access to for information on the following people Jane MORGON - my information is that she died in Sheffield in 1918 aged 64. This would have made her around 47 in 1901, 37 in 1891. Mary MORGON who died in 1919 in Portsmouth aged 82. This would have made her about 64 in 1901 and 54 in 1891. Emma MORGON who died in Exeter in 1919. The image on the BMD was not clear so I'm not certain if she was 85 or 65 when she died. So, in 1901 she could have been 46 or 66 ! Mary A MORGON who died in June 1917 aged 58 in Guildford. She would have been around 42 in 1901 and 32 in 1891. In each of these cases the MORGON may have been recorded as MORGAN. Many thanks for all your help Jenny

For Reginald, you'll have to buy the cert, unless you know who he should have married, in which case I can see it there's a match.

Thanks, this is a family that must have had a lot of stillbirths & young child deaths, cos my gg Sarah appears as an only child on 1861 & 71 but by 1881 she had a 9yr old sister, 16yrs!! between them , young Mary would have been just 5 when she became an auntie,

Please can you find the death of John Edward Palfreyman? He was born in 1865 in Birkenhead Cheshire .On the 1881 he is on board the SS Plover but I lose him after that apart from his marriage in 1890 to Margaret Healey . In 1902 they had a daughter so he must have died sometime after that.In 1901 Margaret is still in Birkenhead.Thanks.I have tried all the usual sites.
