Could you look up in the America 1870 census these two: Robert Colquhoun b 1859 & William Colquhoun b 1835 in England, residing in Tompkins,America Am getting excited now as this may help me knock a brickwall down :~) Also in the New York Immigration index on Ancestry there is a match for Robt Colquhoun and a Wm Colquhoun, could I have their details. Hello Tracy, Thanks for offer. Would it be possible to look for death of George James Hone born 1847 in Poplar Mddx. Lived in Ilford Essex which is where be probably died. He is on 1901 census age 54. Thanks. Pam.

Hello Tracy would love it if you could find a birth in Udny, Scotland for my gt granfather Seaton Porter, 1839. Actual birthdate is known cos he died on his birthday here in New Zealand in 1918, but need to be able to get a certificate or something written to say who his mother was. Also marriage for John Porter to Elizabeth Tocher I would say prior to 1845 in Scotland, sorry no real idea of which county but more than likely Aberdeen. Grateful thanks Brigitte

Laura, I think this is her... Rushton Lilian M, Dunning, Madeley.6a 1128, Birth 2 1913 (Which would explain why you were having trouble finding her. Good news is, you have the mother's maiden name :) )
