Hi, I am chasing any information that you may be able to give me in relation to the birth of a James RUSSELL. It occurred in 1818 at Stow in the Wold Gloucester. James' father should be a Richard RUSSELL Thanks heaps for your time Matt RUSSELL

Hi Pam Certificates will give you parents details. If you order online it is cheaper. If you have the reference number it is £7 for each one. The prices/options are listed. The address is www.gro.gov.uk If I can help anymore, let me know. Sheila

Hi Sheilal, Will I ever get used to this. Just found other message thanks. The 1846 and 1847 could be possibilities. If I ordered birth certificate would it have parents on there do you know? Being new to this too, how do I go about ordering the certificate please? When managed to find marriage certificates it looks as though the wife is above husband on list. He married Mary A Webb in 1891. He was a widower so first wife not listed on census. After chasing Burfield connection, yesterday I found a George Hone 24 on 1871 lodging with Mary Ann Henderson 54, he was mast and blockmaker born in Middlesex. Have Georges everywhere. On grandmother's side she married someone with surname George first time, her father was George Salmon and now lots of George Hones. Gets very confusing to say the least. Thanks again, Best wishes, Pam.

Hi Sheila, Thanks for that. I have this info. My grandfather is Albert Hone. He disappeared in 1931! Thought if I could find his father's parents and children then perhaps I will be able to find out where he went to. Is it possible to go back further than 1861 do you think. I have 2 Georges one 45 and one 14 both born in Poplar on that census. If I could go back 10 years may find a wife for George and see if young George is his son. Really appreciate you help. Thanks again, Best wishes. Pam.

Hi Sheila, I guess miracles are easy, would you now like to try the impossible? I'd be grateful for 1871 and 1891 details for: Fergus O'Conner/O'Conor SANDY born Diss, Norfolk abt 1840 In 1867, he got married in Tenby, Pembrokeshire to an Annie LLOYD - at that time he was allegedly aged 30, a Butler, living at St Mary's Hill, Tenby. In 1881, he pitches up back in Norfolk and by 1901 is in the Workhouse in Croydon, Surrey, where he expired in 1903. Any snippets greatly appreciated. Thanks & regards Jane
