* Sandra Lewis * Hi Elaine, saw your thread and wondered if you could look for an Alexander Gordon (father) Alexander Gordon (son) son born c1834 Manchester so would be about 26, and Ann Jane Gordon (daug) born c1843 in Manchester so would be about 16,that I am afraid is all the info I have...Will look forward to hearing from you. Many thank's Sandra :-) Sorry Sandra, Only found one Alexr Gordon - who was 25 and living in Chorlton ... no other family with him, he was a lodger I assume. No Ann Gordon of correct age. Elaine :-)

Elaine, hi. can you find a ROBT MORELY and wife ALICE MORLEY, somewhere in LANCS please. He would be 33 and she 36. I believe they were all born in the LPOOL and he was a flax dresser? something to do with rope I think. Thanks very much. TED.

Hi, PLEASE *don't* message *requests* direct. Add them to the thread. Have 1861 partial name index if I can help anyone looking for poss Ancestors. Need full name and approx age please and if poss, where you hope they may be. If they should have other family members with them, the details would also narrow the search down.. IF I find a match for the names you give on the name index ..I will give you all the other names that match the same Piece and Folio Numbers ... this is NOT a lookup on the Census .. there MAY be other family members on the page before or after ..so you would need to then ask "Lancashire Lou" on her thread, for a lookup on the 1861 Census quoting the Piece and Folio numbers given for the family. Elaine :-)

N.B. "Lancashire Lou" has a thread offering 1861 Lancashire Census lookups. BUT she is having a break at the moment. She needs the Piece & Folio numbers I provide. see below for more info on this thread.
