hi elaine if possible please could you look up a john wainwright who should be about 24 born nantwich/northwich. on the 1871 census he is down as living in garston st micheal west derby. he may be a dock labourer. in 1871 he is married to a mary ellen born whitehaven but do not know if he was married in 1861, his oldest child is only 5 in 1871. any help would be appreciated. thanks hilary.

Elaine Please could you have a look for Holby (also spelled Holaby, Holdy, Holdey) Atkinson in the Manchester area. He was the father of my Ann Atkinson who married in 1841 aged 19, so will be at least 60 years old. There is another Holdey Atkinson on FreeBMD born 1843 Manchester. I would also be interested if you could find anything on him and his family as I'm sure he must be related. I have traced him in 1871 but by then he is married and in Birmingham. Thank you. Helen
