Hi debs. would it be possible for you to look for a marriage of james cameron ,i only know his wifes christian name ellen.would of been married about 1864/1865 liverpool. thans Linda

Hello, thanks for the offer of help, please would you look up James Norman and Amelia J Norman in Exeter. Or even marriage of James Norman to Amelia Jane Dancaster. Have an address for James at Bartholomew Street Exeter in 1874. Any info greatly appreciated. Thank you Louisex

JUNE I found an entry on 51 census showing him as a servant for John Tucker and living at Skiners Cottage, Honiton census place Gittisham, Honiton. this is from the 81 census........... Thomas MANFIELD Head M Male 56 Stockland, Devon, England Carpenter Sarah MANFIELD Wife M Female 51 Chardstock, Dorset, England Carpenter Wife Mary E. MANFIELD Daur U Female 27 Axminster, Devon, England Nurse Alfred W. MANFIELD Son U Male 20 Axminster, Devon, England Carpenter Fredk.Jas. MANFIELD Son U Male 9 Axminster, Devon, England Scholar Dwelling Smallridge Census Place Axminster, Devon, England Family History Library Film 1341513 Public Records Office Reference RG11 Piece / Folio 2127 / 57 Page Number 8 I also found a Robert Manfield aged 30yrs, carpenter from Stockland with wife Anna and children in Honiton on 51 census. LOUISE what time frame are we looking at for their ages please? I might be able to check 51 census if age fits debs

Sorry, Amelia was baptised in Exeter 1825 and James was of a similar age I believe. Sorry its so vague, not very helpful for you. On 1871 census their ages were, Amelia 67 and James 69 but I have my doubts about the accuracy of that. Thanks Louisex

Deborah, Thanks for the offer. Could you have a look on the 1851 Warwickshire census for Eliza Merritt (or perhaps Merrick) who would have been about 28 at this time and perhaps living in Birmingham. Sorry it's a bit vague but all I have. Many thanks in advance
