Sorry Jude, I only have access to the 1901 and 1891 England census so if they are still in Monmouthshire I cannot be of much help.

Please can you find George and Jane Clare and their children on the 1871 census. I can find them on the following ones .They lived in Louth Lincs and he was a hairdresser. She was born in 1833 in Marshchapel and he was born in 1837 in Huntingdon. Thanks.

Hi Margaret Thank you for the kind offer. Could you look on the 1871 for Alice Clements Major aged approx 16 years Could be under Alice Clements or Alice Major.In 1881 she is shown as Alice Clements aged 26 born Deptford Kent. Thank you Frances

Many thanks. the Ridgewells are from my friends family tree in Austalia will looks in them further I wonder can I ask for a another look up, HENRY BARTON D/O/B 1860 CHELSEA his wife ELIZA d/o/b 1861 kensington I can find them in 1881 and 1901 can find no marriage or births for them. cheers ANN

Hi Margaret, me again. Can you do me one more search on the 1871 census. I am looking for a William Cornforth and his wife Hannah. They had 9 children. Of these Thomas, Edith and Mary should definately be listed at the residence. They were located in the Stretford area of Manchester in the 1860's and by 1881 they were living at Woodlands Park in Timperley. As always, any assistance would be grately appriciated. Alex

Hi Margaret, i am wondering if you could find William Henry Eastwood and Sarah Ellen Amanda Eastwood(nee Booth) on the 1891 census. they married on 31st August 1889. i have found them on the 1901 census with 3 of their children. they married in Sheffield and Sarah was definately born in Sheffield.
