Dear Constance, I am sorry I have not thanked you but kept checking the notice board all day yesterday and today and have only just realized there is more than one page (I am so losing it lately it must be old age) Anyway Many Many Thanks you are just great for finding me John's two sons and yes they are mine and I am in heaven. I love the bit about one of them is a scavenger (wonder what that is all about but think it great). Sue Not so much luck with the 1871 lookup. I could not find Henry Calladine(but not complete for all counties) and the only Catherine Elliott I could find is as follows,unfortunately the census does not give her place of birth only the county as Notts. Hi Constance Could you possibly do a lookup for me on the 1871 census? It is for Daniel Lewis, born c 1832 in Llanishen, Cardiff, Glamorgan. His wife's name is Frances and they should have 6 children living with them, Catherine b. 1858 Weymouth, Emma Jane b 1860 Weymouth, William J b. 1863 Weymouth, Clara b. 1865 Cardiff, Jacob E b. 1868 Cardiff and Robert P born 1869 Cardiff. Hi, if you can help id be grateful, im trying to find the marriage of Annie Cooke and Daniel Galbraith, or even their births would be great... Ive been told that they or one of them (but don't know which!) was born in Govan Scotland and the other was Ireland (which is where they had their children!) buy im having problems finding them as you can imagine they both have very common names and the only info i have is a birth cert for my grandad (another daniel Galbraith) born 22/10/1911 Belfast.... In 1901 they were living in Dover.
