Hi Mary, Many thanks for the info on the Mooneys and Needhams. When you have the time, could you please have a look for CHRISTINE MELDON'S parents, JOHN and CHRISTINA? They could be living in Liverpool, West Derby, Everton or Toxteth Park. Thanks again, Lilian

Hy Mary if you have time I would love to find this info.I traced my GGgrand dad,on Ancestry,s but the system would not let me print out the original census form(1871), now my sub has run out. If it was possible to down load, and email it to me I would be most grateful. It is for Samuel Pugh age 30(in 1871) Born Llandilo Grabon Radnorshire Wales He has 2 daughters (twins) Mary and Rosa ,age 1and Daughter Lizzy age 9 and Wife Mary age 29. Civil parish Llanwrtyd Breconshire. This is a big part of my family Jigsaw. Kind regards Mike Pugh [email protected]

Hi Lilian I found this rather strange entry on 1871 census Living at 2 Court Roscoe St,Liverpool John Meldon 49 Married Rigger b Ireland John Meldon 6 Son b Liverpool Christian Duffy 34 Servant b Ireland The sex of the servant is shown as male,ie the age is in the male column. Thank you very much for the Meldon info, Mary. This is a mystery because today I received a birth certificate for CHRISTINE (CHRISTIAN) MARY MELDON, born September 1865, parents JOHN and CHRISTINA (nee DUFFY) MELDON. I now have to assume they weren't married when she was born. But why wasn't young Christine living with them? Could I trouble you, yet again, to have another look for CHRISTINE (CHRISTIAN) MELDON or a CHRISTINE DUFFY, age 5, living in the Liverpool, Everton, West Derby or Toxteth park areas. Many thanks, Lilian

Hi Mary Thanks for that. I wonder where John snr has disappeared to. I know it is really cheeky of me, but if you get a chance could you do another look-up for me on the 1891 census? Frederick John Backhouse born c1846 Bath Somerset occupation Upholsterer I believe his wife is called Caroline and they had a daughter Norah, but not 100% sure, born about 1888. He was living in Blandford, Dorset on the 1881 census. Any family members living with him would be great. Thanks for your help. Kind regards Nikki

Hi Mary Once again thanks. You have been agret help in finding missing family. Especially the Backhouse's as they always seem to have their name mis-spelt. I know how they fell like, as people still mis-spell it today. Kind regards Nikki Backhouse
