I'm trying to trace my great grandmother Ann Maria Reader, and was born in Tilney Norfolk in 1847 she married John Snell Walshaw on the 2 July 1871 in Wakefield,her fathers name was William Reader.
Iv tried to trace her but with no luck, have only found her on census after she got married and not be for.
Hope you can help

If your offer has not inundated you, I would like a check on the 1851 Warwickshire Census for:-
John Pearson b 1808 and married to Jane Walker in 1836. They had 4 children, Sarah Leigh who would have been 13 in 1851, John Leigh 6, John Edward Leigh 3 and Louisa 0. They were Coventry people.

Could you possibly look-up 1851 Devon please for:- Anthony Ryan (father) occ: shoemaker his son Robert Ryan aged about 19. In 1855 they were living at Granby Street, Plymouth. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Hi Nicola, Thanks for the lookup. I know my Slynns are hard work!!! It looks like you have found two families. Could you let me have the details of both? I have found Augustus Slynn on 1861 transcribed as FLYNN!! Could you try FLYNN in the 1851 census? I've just had a thought, is Edgbaston seperate to Birmingham? If so could you see if there are any Synns there? Thanks a lot for your time, Gillian

Hi Nicola, Thanks for the offer. Could you please lookup on 1851 Warwickshire, Birmingham: George Slynn b1814 Birmingham Sarah wife b Edgbaston? Francis George (or just George) son b1837 Birmingham Thomas b1839 Birmingham. I have found an address on a marriage cert for 1841: Bow Street, Birmingham. The church was St Martin's if that any help? Slynn has sometimes been entered as Slinn, Slim, Slym, Slyme, Shun!! If you find any Slynn families in Birmingham, I would be grateful for the info! Thanks, Gillian
