Hello I have hit a HUGE brick wall - seems unbreakable at this point but you never know....am searching for a James Dawes (born c1810) an Inn Keeper in 1854. His Daughter Mary Ann Dawes for born c1833-1840 in 'Church Street' Hackney London Middleses. I cannot determine an exact birth year as the age given on her marriage cert and on the census records is way out, I think she was actually only about 16 when she married in 1854 to John Snow. Sorry I dont have more on James Dawes. Any info on Dawes in the area would be much appreciated. With thanks Danielle

Danielle, these are all the DAWES in the index. I can do a list of CHURCH STREET if you need it.
