Hi Debra Many thanks for looking for Elizabeth Phillips for me - all I can tell you is that if she is listed on the 1871 census she will be single - Phillips was her maiden name. If that does not narrow down the list please do not worry. Susan

Hi Debra, This may be a bit too vague but thought I'd give it a shot. Am trying to trace my G Grandmother on the 1901 census. Her name was BEATRICE MAUD SCOTT (BECK in 1901), she would have been 17 +/- 1yr. Only other info is her father's name was GEORGE BECK. Have no idea of location. Thanks Paul

Quick Debra HIDE - it's me again.. I wonder if it's worth going sideways and having a look for John's two sisters in 1891 and see who is with them ? They are Eliza Carter age 30 and Harriet Carter (I have her baptised as Harriet but transcribed in 71 and 81 as Marriette) age 22. Hav'nt found a marriage or a death for either of them so they should still be around. Many thanks - Sue
