A 1851 lookup please John Thomas and Ann Thomas(Williams) had 8 children on the 1841 census living at (Plas) Nantymeichied, Meiford,Montgomery maybe obmit the plas. Are they still there on the 1851 as I am looking for Johns place of birth. Regards Lisa

Dear Laurie The first family Richard Stone Waters is my great, great grandfathers brother, and Mary Waters could be their mother, but I don't think the others are connected as you rightly thought, but will keep a copy in case I find they tie in later. The male Waters were all born in Newhaven, Sussex, so they were ether there or in Brighton in 1851. The Washers if you find any were all born in Brighton and would be there in 1851. hi laurie. could you please look for a william [r] walker he would have been about 26. he was born in manchester. would have been in yorkshire in 1871 ,he was a moulder, and a widower. possibly either bradford or birstall/ batley area. this man is proving impossible to find prior to his 2nd marriage in 1873 in birstall. i think his first marriage was in bradford, but she died in 1867. fingers crossed, sue.

Hi Fi and Angel, Sorry I can't do an address search. Nothing for John and Ann in Lancs. There were only two for that area, one was a lodger (unmarried) the other's wife was called Margaret and there was no Mary Ellen. Laurie

Hi Mary, This is all I could find: 1871 living Souldrop, Beds head Thomas Headland 56yrs daur Ann 33yrs son Daniel 18yrs daur Ellen 10yrs daur Emma 21yrs son Jesse 16yrs All the above born Souldrop. (not sure about these) Laurie P.S Will have a look on 1851,, but it takes a lot more time to go through.
