Hi Linda. Sorry my reply has been so long coming I had to stop to revise and take and exam. Now its over I see you have had a great result with my Gustard's and confirmed a whole family for me. Especially Susannah! Thank you again so much. Angela (Keith's daughter)

Chezza Report 4 Oct 2004 19:58

Hi Linda Thanks for the look-up for John Weston. The only other info I have on him is that he was a miner and his father was also called John- which probably isnt much help!- and that he later lived in Sacriston where several of his children were born. Other children were apparently born in Annfield and Ushaw Moor which is info from the 1881 census. Would appreciate any help you can give. Regards Cheryl

Gail Report 4 Oct 2004 18:06

Hi Linda, I am sorry I did not realise. Thanks for your help. Gail

Linda Report 4 Oct 2004 17:33

Gail - the disks are not indexed and run to 5 disks in 1871! That's why I ask for an area of a town, to make the search a little easier for me. Even a village can run to 200 pages, which is a lot to go through. Linda

Gail Report 4 Oct 2004 15:54

Hi Linda, Thank you so much for your help. I am not convinced that they are the correct ones. Could I ask you to look for the whole of Durham? Gail
